We maintain a spinner's flock of registered shetland sheep in NW Iowa. We have other breeds but are now focusing on our shetlands and are getting away from the improved modern breeds. We breed for quality conformation but, since I am a spinner, our priority is fleece. We are not attempting to obtain a flock of uniform looking fleeces but prefer to continually expand the colors and types that we have in our flock in order to be able to offer a wider variety of yarns and spinning fibers.
We do have registered lambs available for sale in the spring.
